P is for the Paris Sainte Geneviève Library

letter p

letter pWe’re visiting another lovely library today during the A to Z Challenge. The Sainte Geneviève Library in Paris, France is both a public and a university library. And talk about a library!

The reading room of the Bibliothèque Sainte-Geneviève is ginormous. With cast iron arches and columns, the library’s walls are lined with bookshelves. And this library’s current collection is over 2 million documents.
