K is for Kanazawa’s Umimirai Library

letter kBooks are loved around the world which is one reason why we’re trekking across the globe to the most beautiful libraries we can find. Today we’re back in Japan to visit the Kanazawa Umimirai Library.

This public library contains 6,000 circular windows that filter in natural light for readers. The Kanazawa Library was build in 2011 and is known as the Cake Box for its square design.
